Stevelois is reporting on the Epic forum that the UOF Low Poly Map Pack is slated for release on the evening of July 5th. Stay tuned! I will be installing these and compressing them for the redirect as soon as they are released.

Stevelois has started THIS thread on the Epic Forums announcing the latest map pack from the UOF crew. This pack is going to focus on Low Poly and custom materials. Can you say HELL’S YEAH??? Looks like we will have some sweet new maps for the Low Poly bin on the server!

PlayForGG has posted a beta of a Malevolence remake in the Epic forums. An interesting take on Malevolence using Cr4zy’s textures providing much higher visibility action. Will have to see how this goes to final to find out if it makes the cut on the server :).
Rumplehedskin started a now-stickied thread on the Epic forums describing a new server he set up in which he is heavily modifying how the Warfare gametype plays.
Catch the forum thread HERE and watch the video below which showcases one of his concepts. WAR Deathmatch! In this gametype, killing other players damages the core! He has several game mods like this and they can only be played by joining Rumples Bloodshed server.
Okay, this could be the biggest UT tease in a while but Ice.T on the Epic forums spotted THIS on a Swedish game site. It lists a new UT as coming in 2015 for the Playstation 4. You will need to use your browser to translate if Swedish is not your native language.
I’m going to take this as complete BS but…if it does happen in 2015, I guess I still have plenty of time left to finish my UT3 maps :). Tantalizing thought though to have a shiny new UE4 editor with a new UT!
Epic is celebrating 15 years of Unreal on the Epic Community website. Hard to believe it has been 15 years! In celebration, the Unreal Deal Pack is 75% off on Steam until May 27th. Good time to buy a couple extra copies. Ya never know when you might need them for an old skool LAN party :P.
I semi-retired my old UT3 server and have a new one set up. Check out the Connect and Query top menus for more info. It will typically be run public and I have my own redirect for all of the installed maps so no worries about not having all of the maps. Any requests for maps not on the server should be made in the Server Forum.
There is also a new TeamSpeak 3 server. The TS3 server has a password so just PM me in the forum if you would like to use it.
Apparently Dark has figured out how to get by without sleep and has put out some WIP images of yet another map! This time it is CTF-Embargo. Looking sweet!
Wow, UT is still getting some love. Good to see! The flak cannon is definitely one of my faves in all UT’s but I still can’t get used to the arc of the secondary in UT3.
Darkn3ss has put out a WIP image of yet another HOLP map he is working on called Rising. DarK has turned into a one man HOLP-style mapping machine! Damn youngins’ ;).
