**Update**: It looks like it is back up but I’m getting a tickrate error on the console so I’m not sure if that will cause issues. Will do some testing tonight.
Repair ticket in progress. Stay tuned for updates.

Wizd3m has a new review of Dark’s CTF-Rising map and…. he like’s it! To check it out in battle, be sure to join his CTF-based Dead Gamer’s Tears server (see Servers menu for banner).
I decided to give UTComp another try so folks that are into that can enjoy their beloved crosshairs and hit sounds. I’ve locked out most of the voting capability since it is not quite as flexible on gametype voting as the stock vote menu.
Another important thing to note: I’ve removed the Player Alias mutator since that functionality is built-in to UTComp. If you were using a player alias using that older mutator, you will need to go to the Misc menu in UTComp (F5 key) and type your alias back in there exactly like you had it with the old mutator. If you get it wrong, UTStats will start collecting an all-new set of stats, not tied to your old alias (I believe UTStats is even case sensitive to player names). Look at how your name is currently recorded by visiting the Stats page on this site to make sure you make it the same.
100GPing100 has released version 2.0 of his UnrealScript IDE. Check it out HERE. No excuses for me now, time to cook up my first mutator…
*Edit* The “Delete All Bots from Deathmatch” has been changed to NumPlay=2 so that at least 1 bot will be in when someone joins.
Now anyone who plays on the MCC server can have the godlike powers of an MCC admin :P. I’ve added two new votable gametypes for adding or deleting bots from the vote menu. When you choose the gametype “Add Bots to DeathMatch”, the HOLP map list will appear.
When the vote is complete, the “NumPlay” server value will be set to 6 (bots added) from that point forward unless the “Delete All Bots from Deathmatch” gametype is voted for (which sets NumPlay to zero). In addition, if the NumPlay value is currently zero, choosing one of the “Set Botskill…” gametypes will set NumPlay back to 6 and add bots back in.
Okay now, Wizd3m is bravely striking right into the heart of MCC server action. He has posted his latest review of the fastest rising map on the server, DM-UOF-LP-Atori. The best thing about Wizd3m is that he doesn’t pull any punches and he certainly doesn’t on THIS review. Atori turns out to be a very polarizing map which actually caught me by surprise since the map is like UT crack for me!
The FreeFOV mutator by Miles Asvachin has been added to the server commandline. From the readme:
“With it running, open the console (press TAB for the quick console or F10 for the full console by default) and type mutate fov 90 (or whatever your desired FOV is in place of the 90) and press return. The value you last set will be saved in the INI file so that it can be appplied next time you run the mutator. The FOV value is a client-side setting, so if you join a server running this mutator, you will get your own chosen FOV. The allowed values for FOV are 70-130o. Values above 130 are disallowed because the camera starts to clip, allowing players to see through walls.”
I changed the tickrate on the server to 80 from the stock 30 to see if any improvements can be made. Please post any unusual results in the forum. I’ve used high tickrates before on my own dedicated server but I have no visibility regarding CPU utilization on the cloud based server so it may take some tweaking.
The MCC server is back up with custom maps/redirect and voting and enabled.
